dA Spam Hack

Wed Jan 28, 2009, 7:26 AM
Hey everyone,

In case you haven't heard, there is a spam hack going around dA. If you get a message that says, "This May Be Relevant To Your Interests" with a link, do not visit the website. Your account will be compromised and you will find that your account will have spread the message to other people.

I apologize if anyone has been affected through my account.

There is a news article about it here.

Progress!

So Ken (the tattoo artist I am apprenticing under) wants me to start tattooing soon. As in, by the end of the month.

So my first guinea pig is my very eager husband. Who trusts me with several needles in my hand and his skin, but not cooking in the kitchen. At least we all have our niches.

Also, I asked Ken if he would tattoo me for my birthday, like ALL DAY (I have these giant wings on my back I need to finish...), and he's all for it. He is a pretty awesome guy. Jason likes him too. :)

Muahahahhaha!

Also, for those of you on myspace, here is the shop Ken and I are currently at: [link]

I'm alive! And searching!

I'm working two part time jobs that STILL don't equal a full time job and I am still doing my tattoo apprenticeship. I took a small break to get married and all that and now my tattoo boss and I are now at The Evil Needle in North Syracuse, NY. It's an established shop and there are other awesomely talented people there, and I'm not the only apprentice anymore.

Anyway, other than that, and the constant snow here (though Syracuse gets flurries compared to where I used to live in Sandy Creek!) my husband got me sucked into World of Warcraft.

I am looking for an artist to help me design my Star Trek sleeve. I am willing to pay you (or tattoo you, if you will wait for me to finish apprenticing). Why don't I draw it myself? Well, I can draw, but I can't draw starships. :)

Note me if interested. :D

So much to do...

...so little time.

When I signed up for *AngelCrusher's AFL, I wasn't working two jobs. Now I am. One that pays me (aka the Day Job) and one that doesn't but will one day (the tattoo/piercing apprenticeship).

Then my muse refused to cooperate. Well, at least the one responsible for drawing. The writing muse is all sorts of cracked out and I have ideas in my head for the Allucia-verse that I have not gotten written down yet.

Then there's that whole wedding planning thing (t-minus less than two months). I have TWO bridal showers because half the guests are from upstate New York (mostly ~Kaine977's family, and the few friends I've made up here) and one four hours south of here for the rest of my family and friends.

I need to call the caterer and the bakery. I need a few more accessories. I NEED A BREAK. But I can't afford to take one.

And none of my friends or family thinks I'm capable of going Bridezilla? I feel like I'm inching closer every day.

Dropping Out

Sun Aug 10, 2008, 11:38 AM
I don't know what I was thinking entering an art tournament when my work can't even compete with the rest of the entrants.

So I've dropped out of the AFL.

To those of you who drew my character, thank you. Let me know if you ever want any art from me.

So I'm going back to focusing on my dolls and making doing a graphic novel version of my fan fiction. Maybe I'll do the AFL or something again when I can actually draw worth a damn.
